DesignVisions 2020, an online e-mentoring co-operative for professionals in the home decor and design industries, recently announced a new partnership with International Market Centers, (IMC) and DesignOnHPMKT.
The partnership will allow DesignVisions2020 to share its design-focused webinar programming with a much broader professional audience. The group has been generating content since the pandemic shutdown began, and since June have been providing live, online webinars to professionals in the home decor and design industries.
Kimberly Porter, Senior Programming Manager with IMC was very enthusiastic after reviewing the targeted content. “We love the programming and what the founders of DesignVision2020 have collectively brought together. The topics are relevant and look like they will be sought out by many to view and participate in! We are very much looking forward to partnering together on these!”
Founding ‘visionaries’ Margi Kyle, Suzanne Price Coleman and Donna Barlett are very excited about the new partnership. Created during the “pandemic pause” of 2020, their goal for Design Visions is to educate, rejuvenate, motivate, and empower other professionals during these trying times and beyond. Both Kyle and Coleman have extensive interior design and teaching backgrounds, while Barlett adds her insight from a unique technology perspective.
Margi Kyle, aka “the Designing Doctor” explained her inspiration for co-creating the Design Visions concept. “We felt the need to give back to this community that has supported and enriched us for so many years. We each have different strengths that we bring to the table, but one thing we all have in common is that we enjoy helping others be successful in this industry.”
Suzanne Price Coleman, principal designer of Suzanne Coleman Design, LLC, added, “It has been uplifting to work with these two brilliant women, to create a community where industry professionals can be inspired and mentored, not only by our own experiences but by other insightful visionaries as well.”
“To date, we have hosted six online ‘Vision Talks’. Our guest visionaries have shared their secrets and strategies that our attendees can immediately act upon to boost their bottom line”, said Donna Barlett. For example… The most recent VisionTalk
In a recent session, Designer / Retailer Kimmberly Capone of Kimmberly Capone Interior Design, walked the attendees through her unique business model that has allowed her to more than quadruple her sales… during a pandemic, getting an 80% close rate, with no discounts.
Although there is no charge for the hour-long webinars, industry attendees must register at the website, designvisions2020.com to access. The topics are very timely and provide actionable ideas for engaging customers, enhancing current business offerings and best practices. If you miss the live events, you can view all recorded sessions after registering.
